Program Description
Evidence-based medicine is the new standard of care – something both patients and physicians demand. Accordingly, physicians and other healthcare providers must find ways to quickly become fluent in the latest clinical developments. By participating in Management Strategies for the Metastatic Melanoma Patient: Applying the Evidence, readers will have a more detailed understanding of key data from major melanoma clinical trials. In turn, participants will be better equipped to apply the evidence in the oncology practice setting.

Off-Label Disclosure Statement

Target Audience
This CME initiative is intended for dermatologists, medical and surgical oncologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the long-term care of patients with melanoma.
Educational Objectives
• Describe major top-line findings from recent research in the use of immunotherapy and chemotherapy for metastatic melanoma
• Identify early signs of immune-related adverse effects in patients undergoing immunotherapy for metastatic melanoma
• List important prognostic factors in metastatic melanoma, and their role in treatment planning
• Describe promising research that may shape the future of immunotherapy in metastatic melanoma
