Target Audience
This CME initiative is intended for dermatologists, medical and surgical oncologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the long-term care of patients with melanoma.
Educational Objectives
- Describe the scientific rational for the use of different immunotherapies in the treatment of metastatic melanoma
- Understand the benefits and risks of chemotherapeutic agents in patients with metastatic melanoma
- Implement strategies for minimizing treatment-related toxicities characteristic of melanoma therapy
- Assess patients' individual risk/benefit profiles to develop individualized plans for the treatment of metastatic melanoma
